This year we will be having a theme party... ZOMBIES!!! [color=red]ZOMBIE DAY[/color] begins at noon October 31st for everyone who wants to be made into a zombie. We have a professional make-up artist as a regular... Kevin "Darkfeather" Ray, to do the make-up effects. Please come in around noon to give the appropriate amount of time (it takes a while to become a zombie). Also bring clothes you don't mind getting ruined. There will be Free giveaways to all who come and become zombies, we want a huge turnout for this! At 4PM the invasion will begin (Shawn of the Dead, Dead Rising, etc come to mind). After the Zombocolips is through we will give out prizes for such things as: [color=red]1) Best interpretation of the living dead. 2) Scared the most Kids 3) Disturbed the most Adults 4) Best LAN Center Plug while remaining in character.[/color] Also as an added bonus anyone who becomes a zombie gets $5 off the price of the lock-in. We will also be playing lots of zombie games like Killing Floor, Zombie Master, Zombie Panic, etc. Plus there will be tournaments, including a Rock Band tournament. Galaxygamesgc.com has moved... sort of. The web site is running on a new server in-house. For the curious (and technically inclined): CentOS 5.2 Platform: VMWare Server Host system: Core2Quad 6700 KentsField (server uses one core) 4GB RAM (512MB for the web server) 750GB RAID5 array (80GB for the web server) Connection: T1 @ GG It may take a few days for the changes to propogate through the great wide intarwebs. | |

Starting today I will be placing a post everyday with a reward (normally 1hr game time but periodically other more valued items!). The post will be somewhere in current topics, but anywhere on the forums. First person to respond to the post with "gimme gimme" (within 24hrs post-time) wins.  (edit 4-14-0 limit 1 reward per user in 72hrs (during the last hour if no one else has claimed it yet, anyone can claim the reward regardless when you last won). | |
